Stan's is a full-service package store located at the edge of Hannaford Plaza near the Athol-Orange town line. Our wine portfolio, featuring wines from around the world, is selective. And that selectivity is what makes Stan's special. On the second Friday of every month, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., we offer wine tastings. This gives you the opportunity to taste a variety of brands and types of wines without obligation. We serve hors d'oeuvres and use wine glasses. There is no charge and all wines purchased during tasting hours is discounted 10 percent from the regular bottle price. Last year, we hosted a wine dinner at The Winterwood Inn in Petersham. The dinner was a smashing success and plans are in the works for another one. We'll have more information and details right here as they become available. Stan's is not just about wine. We have beer, too, a lot of beer. Beyond the expected domestic brands, we offer an excellent selection of microbrews as well as imported labels. And one door of our cooler is dedicated to five domestic and seven imported non-alcoholic brews. If you are looking for fine cognac, port or sherries, you will find them right here, along with single malt scotches, liqueurs and much more. If you cannot find exactly what you want, please ask us. We welcome special orders. Beyond the usual items found in a liquor store, we are proud to offer products from Stonewall Kitchen. We look forward to adding to this line as demand permits. New to Stan's is the recent addition of wonderful cheddars from the Grafton Village Cheese Company in Grafton, Vermont. Currently, we offer six varieties in eight-ounce bars to create a perfect pairing with any glass of wine. Hours of Operation Monday-Thursday - 8
